What tools do I need to install LED lights?

Nowadays, the lamps and lanterns on the market are rich and colorful, which makes many users choose and choose. After purchasing the lamp, it needs to be installed.

 

But some people don't know the tools needed to install lamps, so let's take a look at what tools are needed?

 

Tools needed to install led light tubes:

 

1. Electric stove, wire set, vise, electric iron, tin spoon, tin pot, adjustable wrench, etc.

 

2. Bench drill, electric drill, electric hammer, megohmmeter, multimeter, tool bag, toolbox, high stool, etc.

 

3. Spirit level, safety belt, tie cone, a small wire, gloves, tape measure, red pencil, wire pendant.

 

4. Wire strippers, flat nose pliers, hand hammer, cross screwdriver, hacksaw, saw blade, pressure case, round file, needle nose pliers, flat screwdriver, tap, chisel, flat file.

 

Turn off the main gate of the house before installation, then place the lamps where they need to be installed, tighten the screws to fix the lamps, and finally open the main gate to see if it lights up;

 

Because the lamp is installed in a high position, if drilling is required during the process, be careful when using a power drill.

 

5. Selection of hooks: The selection of hooks also takes into account the weight, size, type, etc. of specific lamps. Generally, the fixing and suspension devices of large-scale lanterns should be overloaded at twice the weight of the lamps; b. Hook, the diameter of the round steel is larger than the diameter of the lamp hanging pin, and it needs to be larger than 6 mm.

 

6. Use porcelain joints, and lamp fixtures (claws): plastic lamp fixtures (the claws must not have wrinkles and defects); the bracket part must be made of galvanized materials of corresponding specifications according to the weight of the lamp; the accessories are complete when purchasing intact.

 

7. After the preparation is complete, you can start to install the lamps, but before installing the lamps, you need to remove the original lamps, and you must remember to cut off the lighting power in the room before dismantling.

8. After turning off the lighting power and removing the previous lamps, take out the new lamps you purchased, determine the installation position on the wall, and use the prepared pencil to draw the hole position on the wall. If you install a square lamp, you must pay attention to the level of the installation of the lamp, otherwise, the effect will not be good after the installation is completed.

 

9. After the punching position is determined, punch holes in the wall with an impact drill, and plug a plug into the punched holes. It should be noted that when drilling holes with an impact drill, you must not drill too deep, or too shallow. The depth is slightly longer than the plug is the best.

 

10. After the drilling is completed, you can first pass the power wires (live wire and neutral wire) on the wall from the inlet hole to the inside of the lamp, and then use the self-tapping in the box to fix the lamp.

 

11. After the lamp is fixed, first use the diagonal pliers to strip the wire, then connect the live neutral wire on the wall to the live neutral wire on the lamp, and wrap it with insulating tape.

 

It should be noted that the alternating current has no positive and negative, and can be wired arbitrarily, but be sure not to short-circuit the live wire and the neutral wire.

 

12. After the line is connected, you can turn on the lighting power supply to see if the newly installed lamps and lanterns are glowing normally. As long as there is no problem with the wiring, the lamps can normally emit light under normal circumstances. There is no problem with lighting. Fix the lampshade, and the lamp is installed.

 

Tools needed to install crystal lamps and ceiling lamps:

 

1. Need electric hammer, hammer, vise, screwdriver, electric pen, expansion screw, expansion tube. One drag strip. The most basic requirement for the installation of lamps and lanterns is that they must be firm.

 

2. When installing wall lamps, bedside lamps, table lamps, floor lamps, mirror headlights, and other lamps indoors, if the height is less than 24m and below, the metal shell of the lamps should be grounded to ensure safe use.

 

3. When installing low-foot lamp holders in bathrooms and kitchens, it is advisable to use porcelain screw-type low-foot lamp holders. The wiring and phase wire (switch wire) of the screw cap should be connected to the central contact terminal, and the neutral wire should be connected to the screw terminal.

 

4. For lamp caps with switches such as desk lamps, for safety, there should be no exposed metal parts at the beginning of the handle.

 

5. When installing various lamps and lanterns on the decorative ceiling, they should be installed according to the requirements of the installation instructions of the lamps. When the weight of the lamp is greater than 3kg, it should be installed with pre-embedded hooks or directly fixed with expansion bolts from the roof (the lamps cannot be installed with keel brackets for hanging flat ceilings).

 

The wires coming out of the lamp head box should be protected by a hose to the lamp position to prevent the wires from being exposed to the flat top.

 

6. The dark line in the ceiling or the wall panel must be protected by the flame-retardant casing.

 

7. Installation of special lamps. The special installation of household lamps is mainly the part of the ceiling. Many people like to install diffused lamps in concealment, but the installation method is not correct.

 

Should be end to end. Fluorescent lamps should be installed - root by - root. The highest position of the lamp tube is at the same level as the edge of the lamp through the frame of the modeling ceiling. Where there is an arc, a small light tube (fluorescent lamp) can be used, not a big one. Lamp colors are available in white, yellow and blue (purple).
